The surf here is considerably affected by weather conditions and the time of year. During the summer months from June to August, Potima Bay generally produces smaller, more manageable waves due to the Mediterranean's calmer conditions. Therefore, it's the perfect time for beginners to start mastering their surf skills under the warm Cypriot sun. The weather conditions are comfortable, and the sea is welcoming. Moreover, the sea temperature is also quite pleasant, often reaching into the mid-20s (Celsius), and the frequent sunshine provides an idyllic environment for spending hours in the water.
